PAINT PEN NOTES SAFETY FIRST – DO NOT INGEST (EAT) OR GET NEAR EYES MOUTH NOSE OR MEMBRANES. THIS PRODUCT IS A MIX OF COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE LATEX PAINTS AND ADDITIVES. I ASSUME NO LIABILITY WHATEVER RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT AND YOUR PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCT CONSTITUTES A COMPLETE ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS USE, SUITABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. TEMPERATURE – This product needs to be in at least 65 degree temperatures to work properly. It will not flow when cold; shaking should be done when warm as well. Your shirt pocket is a good pen warmer.MIXING – Please be sure to shake the pen thoroughly before use. There are additives in the paint pen to improve flow and coverage that definitely need to be mixed evenly. At a minimum, 60 seconds of shaking after you hear the ball is a guide.COLOR – This paint was mixed from a color scan of brand new reproduction side art. It will likely not match the paint on heavily faded games.FIRST USE – Latex is a thick paint. Hold the pen at a 45-degree angle, tip down, and repeatedly press the tip into the valve. Wait about a minute, repeat; repeat this sequence until the very tip of the nib is saturated with paint.LATER USE – Remember to keep your pen tightly capped. The nib will retain wet paint for quite a long time. The nib just pulls out of the valve; if paint has dried in the valve you might want to try soaking the pen in water for a few minutes and cleaning out the valve area.Questions comments and reorders – email artgames@nycap.rr.comThank you for your purchase. |
